Books & Blooms at Calgo Gardens | A Perfect Spring Bookish Event

The first (hopefully annual) Books & Blooms event, hosted by In Bloom and Bound for Adventure, happened a few weekends ago. The weather was perfectly warm, and the sun was shining for this outdoor bookish event. It truly felt like the perfect end to spring, gearing up for a beautiful summer.

There were over 90 vendors, small businesses, artists, and authors at this event spread throughout the grounds of Calgo Gardens. From themed drinks to mobile bookstores, indie authors, and bookish merchandise, this event offered plenty of opportunities to find something new to experience or take home.

​I spent my time roaming around with my friends. We were able to enjoy ourselves, support several small businesses and authors, and bask in the sunshine. It was a great afternoon, and I hope they plan similar events like this in the future!
